Calendar Give

I hope you are well as we continue this journey during the pandemic. Like many of your lives, the life of our congregation has changed dramatically.  Yet we still have hope and still move forward in our worship together as a community of faith. At present we are offering services on-line.

Our principle service is on Sunday Mornings at 10:00 am. The first three Sundays of the month we offer a Morning Prayer service and on the fourth Sunday we offer a Spiritual Communion service. On that fourth Sunday, using the consecrated sacrament from that service, we will offer communion in our church parking lot from 1 pm to 2 pm. All of the virtual Sunday services include music from our wonderful organist Paul Sammon.

Every Thursday we offer an Evening Prayer service at 6:00 pm. This is a beautiful service from our Anglican tradition, filled with prayers and scripture readings that speak to our hearts, give us a sense of balance, and enable us to be with one another.

I know these are difficult times. I am confident that we will be able to be present with one another again on a regular basis, but I also know we need to keep everyone safe. We will continue to meet virtually and, as weather and schedules permit, we will hold outdoor services, until, based on information from our diocese and county health officials, it is deemed safe to gather in person again.

Thank you for your patience and understanding, and please join us as we make our way through this wilderness experience.

I know that people are still seeking pastoral care; given what we are experiencing, it is more needed than ever. However, every situation requires new ways of communicating. If you need pastoral care, please contact me via e-mail, or a phone call to the church office. We will respond as soon as we can.

I am keeping all of you in my prayers and my hope is that we can all stay connected. Please join us in our on-line services and call if you need anything.

Peter
